Our neighbor Julie came up with a wonderful idea to have a block party. So today, we all gathered around my front yard and had a great pot-luck get together. There was so much food, and it was all delicious! The kids all enjoyed playing with water balloons, and later on with a hose. The grown-ups all got to chat and catch up, and get to know each other a little better. It was so much fun, we agreed we should do this every year.
As we chatted away, I brought up an idea I had a long time ago about having an outdoor movie night. Everyone agreed it would be something fun to do! So when we get back from our trip, we are going to arrange one and see how it goes.
