Kerri went to the dentist for her routine cleaning - she absolutely loves going to the dentist. And while she was there, the dentist came in to check out her teeth. Because Kerri's adult teeth come in behind her baby teeth, and her baby teeth then get pushed up into her gums.
Kerri was referred to an orthodontist in November, for a separator/expander device. Her mouth (as loud and big as we think it is) is apparently too small for her teeth.
The dentist took one look at the baby tooth that has been loose for months, and told Kerri that if it was not out by Fall, he would take it out. So Kerri came home and pulled it out herself.
Looks like the tooth fairy will be paying another visit.
Life with Kerri has one less baby tooth.
