Kerri's first week of school has been pretty eventful. On the very first day, she lost her asthma inhaler at the playground and did not want to tell me. On the third day, she smacked her face into the bathroom stall door when exiting and broke her new glasses - and did not tell me until Friday. But those are minor events, when compared to these:
Kerri has come home smiling every day.
She informed me that she has improved her reading skills so much she skipped an entire reading level.
She had her first private therapy session for her auditory processing disorder - and it went very well.
Kerri really likes her teachers.
And Kerri can't wait for Monday to go back to school.
I could not be prouder of Kerri.
Life with Kerri keeps me smiling.
