Since most of us are moms here, it crossed my mind to come up with a different Tasty Tuesdays theme this week. But, let's face it, besides a "kid-cooked meal" consisting of a cold bowl of cereal brought to our bedside on Mother's Day morning, I think it's all safe to say - as moms, we do the cooking 365 days a year...Mother's Day included. That is...unless you've somehow managed to get the point across that on this ONE day of the year when Mothers are actually even acknowledged, you'd prefer not to be in the kitchen! Either way, scrumptious breakfast recipes come in handy all throughout the year...and these recipes are perfect for a Mother's Day Brunch or just a cozy family breakfast on a Saturday morning. And hey, even though you're a mom and hope to be treated this coming weekend with a lavish meal that is NOT prepared by you...maybe you want to treat your own mom to a wonderful home-cooked Mother's Day brunch!
