Yesterday we celebrated the holiday at home with Carol, Andre, Nana and Ben.
I cooked a Maple-Sage Turkey, sweet ham, country stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, buttered rosemary baby potatoes, green beans, acorn squash, mushroom gravy, salad, and cranberry pecan mandarin relish.
And for dessert we had pumpkin pie, mini chocolate covered cheesecakes, chocolate raspberry torte, and a fruit platter.
We had lots of fun opening our Thanksgiving crackers (note all the gold crowns on everyone's head!), and going around the table giving thanks. Ben was thankful for the food, Kerri was thankful for the stuffing.
Afterwards, the kids played a round of Monopoly, where Ben was crowned the Monopoly King.
Thank you Ben for the pretty flowers. We had a wonderful afternoon and evening with our family!
Life with Kerri is thankful for all our blessings. Happy Thanksgiving!
