This is one of the places where I have been meeting bridal couples for the last couple months to talk about their wedding plans and design their wedding cakes.
But for the last two weeks, I'm happy just to drive through the parking lot and see this scene.
Ahhhhhhhh.........Spring!
This hotel is an historic building sitting on a basalt cliff high above the Columbia River. It has stunning views and a 208 foot waterfall outside its back door.
But those gorge views are in competition right now with the serene spring landscape surrounding the hotel.
This landscaping easily rivals gardens I've seen in Europe- places like Salzburg, Austria and Lucerne, Switzerland.
What a spectacular place to get married, even in springtime.
